What an incredible range of colors and shades on that pipe! The sharpness in the foreground and fuzziness in the background enhances this, and the unexpected beauty of the industrial object becomes blatantly obvious and intriguing in its detail. It may have also been interesting to shoot on a diagonal or from other angles to draw the eye across the image in a different way. I like the paint-peeling photo, too, but it could use more contrast or pop.
I like the one looking down on the bikes the best. I think that you used the “thirds rule” that he talked about in class very well
