This picture was fun to edit around with, especially with its natural, soft lighting, more range to work with in my opinion. First, I adjusted the picture’s curves to get a much more contrasted, saturated picture. Then I played with the channel mixer, turning the picture black and white, then continued playing around with the curves. Afterward, I just increased the picture’s exposure. I was trying to give it a bit of a nostalgic feeling. However, when I had to print it out, I had to crop out the sides a bit, so it looks better viewed here.

I was actually looking at this photo with my friend the other day and admiring it. it is a really nice composition. I like the black and white edition better because you can see your subject better but still get the same effect with the light in the background. nice work!
