Assignment 1: Paolo Pelagio

This is a picture of a thorny weed on a really sunny day right between the fence of a paved road and the marsh. To give off the impression of the type of environment and weather I was in,  I decided to make my picture really warm. I used The Channel Mixer to hype up the Red to 108%, Green to -4% and the Blue to +13%. This produced a warmer tint, which made my picture more vibrant. I used 2 points on The Curve to intensify the lighting and the shadows of my picture.

It really looks warmer than the initial pictures which had a lot of shining effects. It is amazing that it is possible the change the picture and it looks that it was taking in a non sunny day or late afternoon when the sun is not too strong. The approching of the changes is very assertive for this kind of shot.
