The photo on the right was the original photo, taken in the ET courtyard. After learning how to enhance photos, I used different settings to make the photo look rich and stand out. As you can see the corrections made on the left photo, the flower stands out to the eye and makes you admire the orange color and appreciate the yellow tips of each pedal. I used Photoshop to adjust the levels of brightness to open a world of realness. I then used the curve technique to bring the center of the picture clearer. The channel mixer helped bring the “pop” into play by exploding the colors in its true meaning. Finally, I made an overlay layer to create a dodge and burn effect around the edges of the photograph to make the overall photo pop out as if it was real. I am excited on learning more to make more photos stand out.
