I like the balance. The rule of thirds seems to apply here, at least horizontally- sky, building/walkway and then the water. The fountain’s water projection does an good job at playing with the foreground and background. With respect to this exercise, it seems as thought you may have adjusted the sky to be brighter than it was originally. This is a good adjustment because that brightness interacts with the brightness of both the fountain’s water projection and the reflection on the water in the very foreground of this image- adding another element to draw in viewers. The darks in the middle-ground vs. the brights in all three horizontal thirds is engaging as well. Pingbacks list Submit a comment...
