I liked the basic photo very much, so I limited my editing to cropping, level and curve correction, as well as color enhancement. I took the photo in one of the outer hallways of the ET building in the evening. The shadows gave the image strongly 90 degree lines, as well as interesting dappled patches of light from the tree. The square symmetry of the original photograph was very strong, so first, I cropped the photo to a square to echo that symmetry and draw the eye more deeply into the picture. Minor level and curve correction was used to very slightly increase the contrast of the image, and I made the colors ever so slightly warmer and redder to contribute to a certain mood and feel.
