Exercise 103_Taiwan ChinPaoSan Necropolis_Jessica Ivana

This is a photo of schematic design for the Taiwan ChinPaoSan Necropolis model. What I find interesting in this photo is the white space. Through the photo, we can feel the space as there are overlapping layers of circles. They gives the photo the sense of depth as we can look to one focal point which is right at the source of light.

Other than overlapping layers, we can also see that it uses "The Rule of Thirds" in composition technique as there is some figure under the photo. Also, the photo has this contrast of lighting, the dark space and the light space. Furthermore, the color plays in the range of black and white adds more to its simplicity and enhance the aesthetic feeling.

Therefore, I think this photo is good enough as a reference in taking photo especially for people who are majoring in architecture or interior field and want to practice taking good satisfying photos of their models. This might be an inspiration.

  1. I think this is an interesting example which shows the contrast between black and white. It is so interesting that the photo includes a lot of diverse techniques such as The Rule of Thirds and overlapping position.
