“Working with grids & grid snaps”
- Begin with a new or existing Rhinoceros model.
- Click on the Snap button at the bottom of the page to turn on grid snap. Your cursor will now snap to points on the grid.

- To edit the grid (and snap) settings, simply right click on the Snap button.
- The “Document Properties” dialog box will open with the Grid options displayed.

- You can apply grid changes to the current viewport only or to all viewports by selecting the appropriate check box.
- You can also adjust the extents (size) of the grid and the frequency of major and minor grid lines.
- Finally, you can adjust the snap spacing.
- After making adjustments, click “ok.”
