E103 – Sabeel Abboushi

This picture is really good because of the perspective it uses. It begins with the trail as wide as the frame and leads the eye far down into the distance. It also uses the rule of thirds where the clouds are in the upper third section and the lake and green mountains are in the lower third. The depth of field technique is not used however this does not take away from the focus of the image, there is a rough symmetrical contrast between the right and left side as well as the clouds and trail in terms of general shape where they converge on the center and spread out on the edges.
