Best Photograph
These images are of the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco. I started the editing process with a curves adjustment to make the dark points darker and the light points lighter. I also used a levels adjustment to make help contrast glass and concrete surfaces. I then made a channel mixer adjustment to change the image to monochrome. I made sure to select a black and white preset that made all light parts of the building clearly visible against the bright sky.
Your work is impressive. I can see the better overall texture on your edited photo, and I think monotone gives more uniformity because the color of the building is gray. I enjoyed your works.
The work here is subtle, not a huge contrast but I can find it in the balcony shadows and edging.
