Reading Architecture: How "Looking" Becomes "Making" Through Techniques of Analysis

An article on ArchDaily, written by Kaley Overstreet, gives a detailed overview of the language of architectural images and symbols in drafting and what they mean in the real world project. Through the examples of The Vanna Venturi home, Moretti's Casa II Girasole, Grace Farms, and others; the experimental and elemental movements of these buildings are explained through vocabulary anyone could notice and remember; I enjoyed this article because it was short and sweet, but also it will help us young designers to be able to notice and reference unique looking diagrams through illustration to conduct the same movement and creativity in the living structure.
