Delphi LUX, Cinema / Batek Architekten + Ester Bruzkus Architekten. Exercise 101 (Idermunkh Batbold)

Located among several art and cultural institutions, including the C/O Berlin and the Helmut Newton foundation, the cinema’s design follows the concept of each auditorium being like an art exhibit in a large gallery. Each cinema hall is its own self-contained world with clearly defined boundaries, in colourful dialogue with the interior.

  1. this cinema is great, I like how they play with those lights to make it looks have more space and very fantastic. I would say I prefer the red one better, the green one is little bit odd.

  2. It’s an interesting concept design. Red really stands out more than the green but regardless its a cool affect to add in a theater. It’d be cool if the you could switch the patterns and colors within the same theater depending on the movie played. I believe that each color correlates to an emotion. I’d like to see how blue or purple looks in there.
