Exercise 101 – Angelica Dudley

Palacio Pereira

The Palacio Pereira is located in Santiago, Chile. This building was completed in 2019 by three main architects: Cecilia Puga, Paula Velasco, and Alberto Moletto. I chose this building because I find the designs of both the exterior and interior to be very intricate and detailed.

Here is an interesting link to the Palacio Pereira from Arch Daily:

  1. Hi Angelica,

I really like your choice of architectural structure for this exercise. Even though it is a modern day building, I thought that the classical design elements incorporated throughout the building were a very interesting contrast with the more modern brick visible in multiple areas of the building. Great choice!

  2. I think this is a good example of how not all modern buildings need to be construced in solely a modern style; Depending on the application of the building a different style might be better suited.
