60 Years Ago, The Modernist City of Brasília Was Built From Scratch - Architectural Digest

The article details the Modernist City in Brasilia, Brazil. The capital was built from the ground up. The design plan was drawn up by Lúcio Costa, while Oscar Niemeyer did the buildings, and Roberto Burle Marx did its landscape design. The article goes on to tell about the history of the town and how revolutionary the design efforts were.It also talks about how they tried to implement the modernist style while keeping the same progressive views of the city through architecture. I just found this article interesting because I didn't even know that a place like this existed.

  1. This is a really cool building! I like how there are more clouds on one side, breaking up the two sides of the sky.
