Exercise 101- Shenzhen Prince Plaza, Daniel Rios

Shenzhen Prince Plaza is an recently built project began in 2012 located in Shenzhen, China. Designed to be an office building the structure resembles a brutalist yet international look while at the same time connecting to nature with the invitation of light through the sky decks. Deigned by OMA, this structure is more grounded in a basic cube shape unlike their other works.

  1. Compared to the buildings surrounded, the Shenzhen Prince Plaza looks more stylish and modern. I think this is a great start on renovating/ re-creating the city’s appearance.
