Exercise 101 – The Deck House

The Deck House is designed with a very opened concept. The inside and outside of the house are visually welcoming as they both offer a complete view of both stories. From the outside, the deck on the second floor is facing north and east. From the inside of the house on the first floor, the main central room has high ceiling that overlaps with the second floor. The hallway, office and general living space on the second floor are visible from this room because of the glass railing used. As a result, the house feels more connected.
