Exercise 103


This photo perfectly follows the rule of thirds with the Church on the right side and with the clouds in the background on the right side. With the horizon line position on the bottom of the frame shows the photographer wanted to focus on the cloud formation above. Although the church is off center it is balanced with the negative space of the back ground.

  1. This image is a pretty good example of the rule of thirds. What I like is the darkness on the left side of the image in contrast to the brighter clouds on the right side. This image also has a sense of desolation and abandonment in my opinion.
