Exercise 103 – Camryn Andrews

The image that I chose is a landscape photo of a mountain range in Norway. Pictures of nature usually resonate well with me, as it can transport you to a completely different place. This photo in particular has very good composition, as it uses the rule of thirds to capture the mountains. Everything is crystal clear in the photo, which I think works very well for it. Your gaze is naturally drawn to the mountain regardless, so there is no need to change the focus on the lens for this particular photo.

  1. The mountain easily becomes the visual point of the photo because of the contrast of light and shade, color, and so on are much stronger than other parts of the photo.
