Exercise 103 Marisa Petrie

This picture is of apartment buildings in Hurghada, Egypt, I chose this picture because of the monochromatic feel, while also pulling in pops of blue from the one structure and tying in with the sky. This image also follows the rule of thirds where the blue structure is placed about a third from the top and from the right. The overlapping of the image really gives it depth, as you can not only see the buildings right in front of you but can see them stacked behind one another toward the back of the image. There is also the pattern and repetition of the square cutouts on the side of the building that is very intriguing and uniformed.
