This photo was taken for the website Bloomberg and is a landscape photo of Times Square in New York during the quarantine lockdown. What initially drove me to find at and use this photo was the wide array of colors that it used to show off the characters in the foreground and background. It follows the Rule of Thirds as well as creates a flow for your eyes to move across the corners of the image. With the absence of a constant symmetry, I feel that the photo was meant to not be calm to look at which makes it elegantly hectic in its own way. Finally the story that the photographer told was meant to be of emptiness and mystery with the nearly empty street and almost no sight of pedestrians
