Your first picture reminds me of when war was going on and building were destroyed. The reason I think that is because the lighting and darkness of the building are so pure and clean. Nice Job!
The sunset is really beautiful and it looks good in luminosity effect. For the castle there, I like how the overlay shows the brightest and the darkest.
Every tonal modification of your work has its meaning and the meaning behind it. I think it is more meaningful to do this way than to simply optimize the image. And the sunset over the sea is very artistic. Very good work.
