I really like your picture of the can with the grunge overlay. The rock and plants together with the can, create a beautifully balanced and interesting composition. The overlay enhances the contrast in color, helping guide our eye from one object to the next as well as clarifying the can as the dominant object of the image.
the placement of the person in the water photo is nice, following the rule of third. She is a bit dark and can benefit from some dodging!
