AutoCAD 9.9 [design center]

  1. Click on the “Insert” ribbon at the top of the AutoCAD window.
  2. Now click on the “Design Center” icon under the “Content” section of the Insert ribbon.[Premium Content - Login] [Membership Options]
  3. If this is the first time that the design center has opened, double click on the “en-us” folder. (Red box below) Double click on the “Design Center” folder. (Blue box below) [Premium Content - Login] [Membership Options]
  4. You will now see many choices (sub-folders) that contain objects for you to place in your AutoCAD drawing. The most common collections are “Home Space Planner,” (Yellow Rectangle) “House Designer,” (Orange Rectangle) and “Kitchens.” (Green Rectangle)[Premium Content - Login] [Membership Options]
  5. Double click on one of these collections and then click on the “Blocks” folder to get specific items. Double click on your desired item and you will see the Insert window (just like AutoCAD 9.8 [blocks]). Click “Ok” and then click on the screen where you would like to place the object.
