Whistler Ski House which is located in the Coast Mountains of western Canada was built for bearing in a severe mountain environment, The most fascinating part of this building is being supported on a continuous 2-foot thick raft slab on densified soil, so it is elevated by rock columns. Also, it was designed as horizontal shutter system that makes residents have privacy and protection from snow.

This ski house is very interesting in terms of its overall design, and the use of a shutter system to protect a flat roof from snow is something i have never seen before
I like the design of the house due to modern design and the use of the glass window to let the sun penetrates
the architecture of this house is done very well.
